Description

OFTEC is a trade association representing the liquid fuelled heating industry, including equipment manufacturers and over 90 training providers. We also run a competent person registration scheme for heating technologies other than gas. Registration options include oil, solid fuel, renewables such as heat pumps and MCS. OFTEC is also leading the introduction of a new renewable liquid fuel for heating called HVO, which reduces carbon emissions by 88% compared to traditional heating oil.
