For 120 years, we’ve been all about a good place to sit. In our founding year 1901, we began manufacturing children’s wooden wagons. In 1932, Albert Bemis switched to toilet seats, capitalizing on his employees’ woodworking expertise. Twenty years later, we innovated a compression molding process for enamelled wood seats that’s still in use today.
