In our founding year 1901, we began manufacturing children’s wooden wagons. In 1932, Albert Bemis switched to toilet seats, capitalizing on his employees’ woodworking expertise. Twenty years later, we innovated a compression molding process for enameled wood seats that’s still in use today.
