The hotun detect alarm unit has benefits for the customer, installer and the maintenance engineer. We’ve created the perfect balance between an alert that was loud enough to hear, but not so loud that it’s annoying. It’s quietly insistent: nudging you to let you know something’s gone wrong, rather than being an emergency-style smoke alarm. There’s also an auto-mute option so after it’s gone off for 12 hours, it will mute itself for 24 hours. If the sensor’s still wet in 48 hours, it’ll go off again.
