In this reference project, we show the installation of the sustainable IDEAL CLASSIC PET 30 surface heating system in the attic of a building renovation – implemented as ceiling heating and ceiling cooling. The system's insulation panels are made from 100% recycled PET bottles and combine sustainable materials with modern heating technology. This creates an energy-efficient surface heating system with a low carbon footprint and excellent insulation values. The system is integrated into the ceiling and sloping roof and provides pleasant radiant heat in winter. In summer, the same surface can be used for gentle room cooling. This solution offers great advantages, especially in attics, as floor space remains free and installation in drywall construction can be carried out quickly. This reference project shows how modern surface heating systems represent a sustainable and future-proof solution for energy-efficient renovations, especially in combination with heat pumps.
