This compact and user-friendly device measures solar irradiance, a critical factor in determining a system’s potential output. It also accurately measures the temperature of solar panels, both on the surface and underneath, using either the built-in sensor or an external probe. Additionally, the SL104 incorporates a precise magnetometer to measure the array or roof pitch angle and magnetic direction, aligning with the industry standards defined in IEC 62446-1.

With the SL104 Solar Irradiance Survey Meter, solar professionals can streamline their workflow, make informed decisions, and deliver high-quality installations and maintenance services.

Key Features:

  • Solar Irradiance Measurement to 1400 W/m²: Indicating in real-time how much solar power is available to convert into electricity.
  • Inbuilt Cell Temperature Sensor: The inbuilt surface probe located on the base of the SL104 offers a quick indication of the surface cell
    temperature.
  • External Cell Temperature Probe: The attachable external probe connects directly to the SL104 and offers a quick indication of the
underside cell temperature of the panel.
  • Inbuilt Magnetometer Compass: The inbuilt compass will enable you to determine the roof direction to gain an accurate array
    direction.
  • Roof Pitch Inclinometer: The integrated inclinometer will assist in determining an accurate pitch of the roof angle the array is intended
to be mounted to help calculate the efficiency of the array.

Applications:

Electrical engineering | Domestic and commercial solar thermal Installations | Domestic and Commercial solar PV installation | Solar PV Maintenance
