The heat exchange is described with a typically non-linear relationship between flow and exchanged heat. COMPARATO ball valves, with their equi-percentage characteristic obtained thanks to special regulating discs, allow to compensate the non-linearity and to obtain a characteristic curve installed, as shown here. It’s easy to see that the stability of the adjustment is positively affected by the action of the constant-gain actuator.
