Why test for Molybdate?

Molybdate (MoO₄²⁻) is a trusted corrosion inhibitor widely used in water treatment systems, especially in cooling and heating applications. It’s effective across a broad pH range and is typically unaffected by the presence of common biocides like chlorine.

Maintaining the correct molybdate concentration is critical to ensure system protection and efficiency. These test kits provide a quick, simple, and accurate way to monitor molybdate levels on-site.

What do they measure?

Our test strips detect molybdate levels from 0 to 350 ppm, with easy-to-read increments at:
0, 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, and 350 ppm.

This makes them perfect for routine checks and ongoing system maintenance – giving you confidence that your corrosion inhibitor is doing its job.
