Lo-16 Water Underfloor Heating System
Warmup’s Lo-16 water underfloor heating system combines a low-profile design with precision engineering to deliver a consistent heat output at lower water temperatures.
Lo-16 is comprised of a full set of lightweight yet structurally robust panels that incorporate 500kPa closed-cell, moisture resistant XPS insulation for superior compressive strength compared to less durable EPS alternatives. Its universal panel features a continuous 200μm aluminium diffuser which is pressed into precision omega-shaped grooves. Even on curves, a unique pre-sliced 'finger design' wraps the diffuser around the pipe - eliminating cold spots. This advanced engineering maximises thermal transfer - providing up to +19% higher heat output than comparable systems on the market.
Compatible with Warmup’s 16mm PE-RT pipe, the Lo-16 System features 200mm pipe-spacing centres to reduce hydraulic pressure loss and enable larger floor heating circuits with a broader heat coverage, thereby reducing the manifold size and overall system cost. This optimised pipe spacing also enables the heating pipe to be installed without exceeding the minimum bending radius - protecting the warranty unlike competitor panels featuring 150mm centres.
With a 25mm build up, the Lo-16 System offers a quick, screedless installation over existing subfloors in rooms of any shape or size. Its ancillary panel set includes plain, service, curved and - exclusive to Warmup - dedicated manifold panels, eliminating the need for manual cutting or infilling with screed or levelling compound whilst ensuring a consistent structural performance. Lo-16 offers exceptional value-for-money – delivering superior comfort, lower running costs, and robust protection for almost all floor finishes.
