The hotun 100 range of products, combines a tundish and dry-trap to provide a safe and visible discharge from a relief valve direct to a local waste or soil pipe, allowing a flow of water from the discharging T/PRV, whilst eliminating the risk of foul odours from the foul system entering back into the building AND providing regulation required, back-flow contamination & back-siphonage protection to prevent contamination of any wholesome water when connecting to the waste pipe (Category 5 risk water)
The open-sided construction ensures “SIGHT” of both flowing AND residual water (vital for complete visual fault diagnosis). Easy access to tundish bowl to also “TOUCH” for verification of diagnosis. Pressure tested to H1 Building Regulation standards to ensure no foul gasses or “SMELLS” enter the occupied space.
“Low volume” PRV discharges, eg: Boiler, HIU & Small Unvented Water Heater PRV’s. 15mm compression inlet, 22mm compression outlet. Rated Flow – 12LPM, Max Flow – 16LPM, rated for use up to 120°C.
Compatible with hotun detect, in-tundish alarm unit for automatic audible PRV fault diagnosis to “HEAR” if the PRV drips.
Includes hotun protect 100C, a removable, ventilated shield, for the 100C range of dry trap tundishes, suitable in all applications. (hotun protect shield has sufficient free area to maintain the hotun 100C dry trap tundishes designation of an “Air Break to Drain” protecting against catagory 5 risk backflow contamination of potable (wholesome) water supplies and can be used in conjunction with hotun detect alarm unit without modification)
