EPS Overlay requires a flat and level sub-floor for the installation to fully support the floor finish on top. The grooved foiled insulation panels are then laid onto the structural floor layer.
Concrete Sub-Floor: Grooved insulation panels (25mm,30mm, or 50mm) are laid on a flat, level concrete base. UFH pipes fit into pre-formed grooves, with a screedboard or timber flooring placed on top before the final floor finish.
Timber Sub-Floor: Similar to the concrete system, panels are laid on a flat timber base. UFH pipes slot into grooves, followed by a screed board or timber flooring, and the final floor finish.
