Border edge insulation is designed for use in underfloor heating systems, laid within a screed. The border edge insulation is run
around the perimeter wall of each room to be heated, held in place with a temporary fixing prior to screeding.
The standard border edge insulation comes in 25m or 50m rolls and for a typical installation we recommend allowing 1 linear metre of edge insulation per square metre of heated floor.
We also supply a border edging with overlap available in 50m rolls and with height options of 100 and 150mm. For use with flowing
screeds, to ensure that the screed doesn’t flow behind the insulation and down the edge of the wall.
