Grant’s Quick Recovery 2 (QR2) cylinders combine high quality build, efficient operation and versatile use, making them the ideal hot water storage solution for oil boilers and air source heat pumps.

The Quick Recovery 2 cylinders, which are suitable for use as either open-vented or unvented cylinders, are Grant’s most efficient generation of cylinder models, boasting fast heat-up times and improved standing heat losses. The range is adaptable with each model being suitable for multiple applications, making specification very straightforward. Furthermore, the Quick Recovery 2 cylinders are manufactured by Grant Engineering in Co Offaly, Ireland.

• Models range in size from 150 litres up to 300 litres with single coil, slimline and pre-plumbed variants available, including pre-plumbed models with the Aerona Smart Controller factory-fitted, as well as QR twin coil cylinder models.
• All cylinder connections are 22mm compression. Pre-plumbed cylinders have 28mm compression on pipe connections.
• Single coil cylinders are 561mm diameter. Slimline versions are 481mm diameter. Twin coil cylinders are 550mm diameter.
• No anode required and labelled tappings and connections.
• Supplied with unvented kit as standard including expansion vessel, inlet manifold, tundish, 2-port motorised valve and dual thermostat plus factory-fitted 3kW immersion heater.
• Fast recovery stainless steel coils, factory fitted temperature and pressure relief valve and quality external finish with organic Estectic Tex paint.
• Pre-Plumbed models have factory-fitted pre-wired controls including the Aerona Smart Controller or Grant EP001 wiring centre, a digital dual thermostat & immersion heat timer, factory-fitted cold water inlet pipework, potable water expansion vessel for the cylinder, factory-fitted primary system pipework including a built-in filling loop, system pressure gauge, automatic system bypass, a 2-port zone valve for hot water & two 2-port zone valves for two heating zones.
• Optional plinth available as an accessory for use with any Grant hot water cylinders (excluding the integrated cabinet cylinder) - Part code: MB-24. An optional cylinder stand is also available for use with the 50ltr Internal Volumiser – Part code: MB-50.
