A standard FassaRend render cycle features a multi-layered application engineered to prevent cracking and weather damage:
- Basecoat: A fibre-reinforced cement render
- Mesh: A glass fibre reinforcing mesh embedded to absorb thermal stress and prevent shrinkage cracks.
- Primer: A stabilizing coat applied before the final finish.
- Finish: A durable, breathable, and weather-resistant topcoat, such as an acryl-siloxane finish (e.g., RX 561), available in a wide variety of grain sizes and curated exterior colours
