Available as a loose electrical heating cable and anti-fracture membrane combination, the DCM-PRO Heated Decoupling System features a unique self-healing decoupling layer which is particularly suitable for protecting floor tiles from cracking due to lateral subfloor movement caused by seasonal temperature changes. DCM-PRO will have a negligible effect on floor build-up height, making it the perfect heating solution for both renovation and new-build projects.
The system is available with two membranes options and two heating cable options, offering a more flexible installation. The Peel-and-Stick membrane features a self-adhesive backing for 40% faster installation times than standard floor heating membranes whilst the fleece-backed membrane has been designed to use with traditional adhesives on damp or uneven subfloors. The DCM-PRO membrane utilises a unique castellation design requiring less screed or tile adhesive and it is 40% quicker to install than standard floor heating membranes. When tiling over, the updated design reduces the amount of tile adhesive required for a 3mm consolidated layer above the castellations by over 10%, significantly reducing installation costs.
The Standard Wattage Heating Cable provides a flexible heat output of between 112.5 W/m² to 225 W/m² whilst the Low Wattage Heating Cable offers a flexible heating output of between 41.3 W/m² - 82.5 W/m², making it ideal for use in projects with low load supplies and offering compatibility with solar PV systems.
DCM- PRO uses Radiant Effect, 100% Efficient Electric Heating and Zoned Control to reduce energy usage by up to 35% compared to traditional radiator systems. Designed and manufactured by Warmup, a research and development-led company who are aligned with the UN's Race to Zero initiative to reduce global CO2e emissions.
