INSTANTOR ENHANCES PHG PARTNERSHIP VIA RICHMONDS PLUMBING AND HEATING MERCHANTS
Since joining the Plumbing and Heating Group (PHG) in 2025, Instantor, manufacturer of superior plumbing products, has made significant progress in building connections with the merchant members. Among them is Richmonds Plumbing and Heating Merchants Limited, an independent family-owned business with a history of 140 years in the bathrooms and plumbing and heating industry.
Today, Richmonds operates seven branches across central Scotland, giving the trade easy access to the products and solutions that they need for all projects, large and small. Through the new partnership, installers can now access the Instantor Press System, which includes press fittings and Pex-Al-Pex pipe that are quick and easy to install. The Instantor Press System eliminates the need for heat based methods, such as soldering. The installer simply has to crimp the fitting securely on to the pipe using a Press Tool, which is a fast and reliable method of joining pipework.
