EPSA Insulation Accelerates Growth with Its New Investment at TEKNOSAB
BURSA – EPSA Insulation, one of Turkey’s leading producers of insulation and construction chemicals, has started operations at its new production facility in the Bursa Technology Organized Industrial Zone (TEKNOSAB). With this significant investment, EPSA strengthens its position in the sector by increasing production capacity. Together with its facilities in Bursa and Eskişehir, the company now has a total of 27,000 m² of indoor space and 30,000 m² of production area. EPSA continues to make a difference with innovative solutions for insulation, construction chemicals, and packaging sectors, reinforcing its pioneering role through high-quality standards, R&D-focused production, and sustainable technologies. Its Industry 4.0-based machinery, digitalization, and automation investments, combined with sustainability-focused production, aim to enhance competitiveness both domestically and internationally.
Innovation, Quality, and Sustainability-Oriented Production
EPSA offers innovative solutions to industry needs with a wide product range, including thermal insulation boards, adhesives, bitumen-based waterproofing products, epoxy-based floor coatings, and cement-based structural strengthening solutions. Additionally, EPSA produces EPS (styrofoam) packaging products for automotive, textile, furniture, white goods, and construction sectors. EPSA Insulation & Construction Chemicals Board Chair Nurcan Özdemir highlighted the strategic importance of the new facility: “With our TEKNOSAB plant, we are increasing capacity while adopting a technology- and sustainability-focused production approach. Here, we will produce solution-oriented, technically advanced, high value-added products. We focus on ready screeds, steel mortars, and waterproofing products that protect buildings from corrosion, increase earthquake resilience, and accelerate construction processes. We targeted this area after earthquakes because water is the primary factor damaging building structures. With technically advanced products, we will ensure national wealth remains in our country.”
Özdemir also emphasized that the new facility aims to lead the green transformation in the sector using energy-efficient systems and eco-friendly raw materials: “Thermal insulation is critical for reducing energy consumption and protecting nature. We are working on more eco-friendly products that everyone can easily apply. We believe that all construction materials used in Turkey must be certified and guaranteed. This increases quality and protects national wealth.”
New Brand: Innovation in Construction with QUADROFLEX
With its new brand QUADROFLEX, EPSA Insulation introduces significant innovation in construction chemicals. QUADROFLEX offers more durable and sustainable solutions for the construction sector with innovative products developed for waterproofing, structural strengthening, and industrial flooring. Nurcan Özdemir summarized the impact of the new brand: “With QUADROFLEX, we ensure buildings are stronger and longer-lasting. Export Goals and International Growth Strategy
Özdemir stated that EPSA aims to establish a more effective export network in Europe and the Middle East and shared its strategy for enhancing global competitiveness: “While maintaining our strong position in Turkey, we aim to expand our export volume. Our new production facility will be an important part of this strategy. We will develop our products according to global standards and increase our market share in Europe, America, and the Middle East.”
