At InstallerSHOW in 2021 we hosted a debate on the future of BioLPG in the UK energy mix.

There are over 1.5million rural off-grid homes across the UK, many of which are old historic buildings that are hard to heat due to the lack of installation. As such, they all use fuels such as LPG, oil and coal to generate heating and hot water. Switching the fuel they use to a BioFuel alternative, could be the simplest way to drastically reduce the carbon emissions of this type of property.

We catch up with two panellist from last year, Paul Williams and Sophia Haywood, to get an update on the low-carbon fuel.
